How we handle your data

We collect only as much personal data as we need to reply to you. The site uses no cookies and we measure traffic on our own server.

What we process and why

Each piece of data has its purpose and a period after which the system deletes it on its own.

Contact form

Your name, e-mail or phone and your message – so we can reply and agree on cooperation. The legal basis is steps taken before entering into a contract and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries. We keep messages for 24 months.

Job application

Your name, contact, message and optionally a link to your profile or portfolio – for the hiring process. The legal basis is steps taken before entering into a contract. We keep applications for 24 months.

Protecting forms from bots

For every submission we record the IP address and technical details of the browser, and for a rejected one also the shortened content of the fields, so we can recognise automated attacks. This is our legitimate interest in the security of the site. We delete the records after 90 days.

Visitor analytics

Umami on our own server, with no cookies and without storing IP addresses. We tell visits apart by a fingerprint that changes every day, so we cannot recognise you even across two days. This is our legitimate interest in knowing what people read on the site.

Search

We store only the search text, the language and the number of results – nothing that points to you. It helps us add what people look for and do not find. Search runs entirely on our server, queries go nowhere else.

Map on the Contact page

The map is provided by Google and loads only once you click it. Only then does Google receive data about your browser, including your IP address, under its own privacy policy. If you do not click the map, Google knows nothing about your visit.

Who we entrust data to

The site, the database and outgoing e-mail run on servers of VSHosting s.r.o. in the Czech Republic. We run our mail on our own server.

Google, only when you load the map yourself.

We do not sell data and do not use it for advertising or automated decision-making.

Cookies and browser storage

The site sets no cookies, which is why it has no cookie banner. Your browser remembers only what you chose or what navigation needs – light or dark mode and your position on the page when you go back. None of it is sent to the server.
