The website of a Pilsen forge whose forging tradition dates back to 1882. In 2025 we built it from scratch, including graphic design based on the corporate identity, structure, admin and three language versions. We keep running and developing it.

A traditional forge, a new website
One website for customers and business partners, and for recruiting new people to the forge in Pilsen.
Czech Precision Forge makes closed-die and open-die forgings from steel and non-ferrous metals and continues a forging tradition that dates back to 1882. We built the new website from scratch: graphic design based on the corporate visual identity, structure, templates, admin and three language versions – Czech, English and German.
The website presents seven manufacturing technologies (from closed-die forgings up to 800 kg to open-die forgings up to 2,800 kg), six material groups and seven industries the forge supplies. Technologies and materials show a table of what can be forged from what and up to which weight. The Careers section with open positions supports recruitment.

Messages reach the right department
Contact forms sit on the company, technology, material, reference, careers and contact pages, and each one knows where the message comes from. They filter out bots without a captcha, save the message in the admin and send it to the people the editor assigns to that section right on the page.

Three languages, down to the URLs
Czech, English and German have their own translated page addresses. Search engines find links from every page to its language counterparts.

Technologies and materials
Each pair of technology and material can have a maximum forging weight and a note. The table then appears on both the technology and the material page.

Admin for three languages
Technologies, materials, references and open positions are managed in one place. A new record gets a slot for every language right away, so no translation goes missing.

Texts editable on the page
The editor changes over a hundred texts with a pencil right where visitors see them – in all three languages, without searching the admin.

Photos and documents
Photos are converted to lightweight web formats automatically. Quality certificates can be downloaded as PDFs, with a separate file for each language.

Careers and recruitment
Open positions have their own page and a form with a recipient set for recruitment. The forge adds and removes positions in the admin itself.

Speed and measurement
Images sized to the screen and the hero photo loaded first. Traffic is measured only with the visitor's consent and only on the live website.
How the project runs today
On our server
The website runs on our infrastructure. Automated code analysis checks every change before it is merged, a one-step deployment brings database and text updates along, and monitoring reports errors before anyone notices them.
Changes after launch too
After launch we replaced reCAPTCHA with an unobtrusive bot filter and added a consent bar for measurement, a custom 404 page and new contacts. We keep the website up to date.
