Website development
A website that introduces you, brings in enquiries and gives answers to people and AI assistants. We build it quickly, it lasts for years and it is entirely yours.
- The website looks ten years old and customers notice.
- People get lost on our website and can't find what they need.
- We are starting a company and the website has to appeal to our target customers.
- We are launching a new product and it deserves its own website.
- We also deliver abroad and need the website in our customers' languages.
- We're changing our brand and the website has to adapt.
What came out of briefs like these
Four websites we built and continue to develop. The numbers show what each of them handles. You will find more websites in our references.
Why give development to experienced developers
Building a website is quick and cheap today. What remains expensive is knowing what to build so that it stands up to real people, search engines and AI, and developing it for years.
-
We know what to build.
We go through what the website should do, who will write for it and what it connects to. You come away with the scope, risks and price. You then manage the content yourselves, but the system will not let you change or delete important components.
-
Stands up to people, search engines and AI.
We build the website so that people, search engines and AI assistants can find it, it loads in the blink of an eye, has a compliant consent bar and is accessible from the start. We prove the speed with Web Vitals metrics.
-
We develop it for years.
We arrange hosting and the domain, set up backups and round-the-clock monitoring. Most websites we build we then also develop further, the oldest for over fifteen years.
What we can add to a website
-
System integration and data collection
We connect the website to your systems. An enquiry creates a contact in the CRM, a booking goes into the calendar, and nothing is lost if the other side goes down.

Advanced data search
We build a search that finds a page, a product and an answer in the advice section, with word forms and typo tolerance. In the admin area we show you what people searched for.

Maps and geodata
We put branches, shops or projects on the map. Addresses in the right place, nearby search and route planning.

AI and local models
The website sorts form submissions, reads attachments and summarises enquiries, so you receive a finished request rather than a pile of emails. You decide where the data may go.

How a website comes together
Development in stages, you see finished parts as we go.
You see finished parts as you go, on a phone and on a large monitor. Change is cheapest while things are being built.
-
Conversation and brief We go through what the website should do, who will write for it and what it connects to. You leave with the scope, risks and price.
-
Design and development in parts The website grows page by page and feature by feature. At any time you can click through what is done and say you want it differently.
-
Launch and development Domain transfer, redirects from old URLs, analytics. After launch we carry on based on what the website needs.
- How long does the build take?
- A website with an admin area usually takes a few weeks, a large portal with many integrations more likely months. But you see the first working version long before the end.
What a website costs
We give a price after a conversation and analysis – including an option for a smaller budget.
Anything earlier would be fortune-telling. The price depends mainly on the scope of the content and the admin, the number of integrations with other systems, and whether we build the website from scratch or build on an existing one.
With every quote you can also get an option for a limited budget: what to do now, what can wait for the next phase and what you can handle yourselves.
- We only need a simple presentation site. Is it worth getting in touch?
- If you value future stability, the assurance of having someone to turn to for years, and the option of adding new features to the website later, then definitely.
Care after launch
Monitoring, updates and capacity for development – only if you want them.
We keep running most websites after launch: we watch servers and availability, apply updates and keep capacity in a team that knows your website. None of that is a condition, though – you can run the website yourselves or with another team.
Servers and operation
The website belongs to you
The code, accounts and domain are in your name. Any experienced team can take it over.
We build on proven open source without proprietary solutions. We keep the repository, including its history and deployment, in your name, and the website runs on your domain, with your provider or in the cloud. Handing over to another team is therefore a matter of an afternoon, not a negotiation.
Questions before you enquire
What people ask before they get in touch. Administration, search, visibility and integrations.
- Can we manage the website ourselves?
- Yes, that is what the admin is for. The code, accounts and documentation are yours, so you can carry on yourselves or with another team.
- Why not just generate the website?
- A generated website is done in an afternoon and can look good for a long time. But every change is another prompt, and nobody checks what gets deleted or left out along the way: search engine descriptions, image alt texts, heading structure. Our admin guides the editor, so they change the content and nothing important gets lost.
- Isn't Google search enough?
- For general queries, yes. But Google does not know your catalogue the way you have organised it, cannot narrow results by your categories and will not show you what people searched for on your website and did not find.
- Can you guarantee us the top spot in search results?
- No – nobody can honestly guarantee that. We take care of everything that matters on the website's side (technical SEO): structure, speed and readability for search engines and AI. After that, ranking depends most on the content you write for the website.
- Have a more complex portal in mind?
- We're great at that too. Take a look at custom information systems or web applications and portals.
Just tell us in a few words what you expect from your website
We will fine-tune the brief together. We will get back to you with questions that help us understand what you need, and a proposal for how to start.
