Jdetorazdva
An online shop for construction chemicals and building materials, plus motorbike and quad gear taken over from a wholesaler's feed. We took over development in March 2025. We moved the shop to our server and have since been developing the product import, purchase prices and our own feed for the Heureka comparison site.
- since 2025, takeover and development
A shop stocked by a wholesaler
Most goods come from a wholesaler's feed – the shop takes them over, prices them and passes them to Heureka.
Jdetorazdva sells construction chemicals and building materials, along with gear for motorbikes and quads. There are over 900 construction products, but most of its more than 17,000 products are goods from the wholesaler ASP Group, which the shop regularly takes over from its feed. The design and the WordPress and WooCommerce foundation of the shop come from the previous supplier.
We took over development in March 2025. We backed up the running shop, put the code under version control, moved the shop to our server and set up automatic error monitoring. Then we turned to what the business stands on: the import from the wholesaler, purchase prices, product availability and the feed for the Heureka comparison site.

From the wholesaler's stock to Heureka
Wholesale goods pass through the shop in four steps: they regularly arrive from the feed, get stock levels and prices as well as categories and parameters for the comparison site, and end up in the Heureka feed – only what is in stock, and with a shipping price calculated by a real cart.
Seven areas from takeover to Heureka
From the move to our server through import and prices to the comparison feed and checkout.
-
Takeover and move
A backup of the running shop, code under version control, a move to our server and automatic error monitoring – a foundation on which the shop can be developed safely.
-
Wholesale import
We took over the nightly import of goods from the ASP Group feed and adjusted it – product downloads, images that were missing on the server, and goods without stock or a price.
-
Our own Heureka feed
We wrote our own feed generator: variants as separate items with EAN, manufacturer and parameters, the shipping price from the cart, and only goods in stock and with a price.
-
Categories and parameters
Heureka categories and product parameters are filled in from the wholesaler's data, so goods end up in the right category on the comparison site.
-
Purchase prices
A purchase price field for products and variants and an import of CSV price lists that matches prices by EAN or product code. The purchase price is visible right in the administration.
-
Product availability
Goods from the wholesaler are labelled “In stock at supplier”, and selected goods can be switched to “To order” in bulk by supplier.
-
Product page and checkout
Choosing variants and adding to the cart on the product page, a fix for a script error on the page and payment rules – cash on delivery is not offered for motorbike gear.
How the project runs today
On our server
After the takeover we moved the shop to our server and set up error monitoring. We take care of its operation and of the scheduled jobs – the nightly import from the wholesaler and the regular generation of the Heureka feed.
Changes that follow the business
We develop the shop according to what the business needs – from purchase prices and product availability to choosing variants, the cart and payment rules. Every change has its place in version control.
